Biography:
Jamie has been employed by the Northumberland County Prothonotary’s Office for ten years. With her 11th year being the Elected Office Holder.

Jamie and her husband, Ben, reside in Coal Township. They have two sons, Larry and Jonathan, and a dog, Willow.

 

Duties:
Responsible for the accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and certification of records in the Court of Common Pleas.

Effective March 15, 2021

The Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts Office will be open for searches ONLY.

** We ask that all filings still be dropped off in the box at security or the basket in the office **

Space is limited and will be at a first come basis with ½ hour time limits.

Masks MUST be worm and social distancing will be followed, along with workstations being sanitized after each use.

 

I know what an inconvenience this has been, and we appreciate your continued cooperation and support during this time. We must all do our part to keep everyone safe.

Effective Monday, December 7, 2020. The Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts Office will be closed to the public, until further notice. Any filings can be placed in box in front of security. Be sure to provide envelopes to have all copies mailed back to you.

If you need to post bail. You can do so by calling and making an appointment at 570-988-4148.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, with the Courthouse being the only County building open to the public at this time and the number of positive cases of COVID going up each day in the Courthouse, it is my responsibility to keep my staff safe. As you are all aware, we are a very high traffic office and this is the only remedy I have at this time to keep everyone safely working.
