Biography
Joe is a lifelong resident of Northumberland County having grown up in the Shamokin-Coal Township area. He graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1972 and is a 1976 graduate of Lycoming College where he was a member of the football team. He furthered his education receiving graduate degrees from both Bucknell University with a Master of Science in Education and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in Administration. Joe worked as a teacher and coach in the Warrior Run School District and then as a counselor, coach and athletic director for the Shamokin Area School District. Since 1990, he has served on numerous Northumberland County boards and committees. He also was a member of the Southern Columbia Area School Board and CSIU Board serving as treasurer.

Joe is a PIAA football and basketball official and Eagle Scout. He lives in Ralpho Township and is married to the former Barbara Kwiatkowski and they are the proud parents of four children, Mary Frances Klebon, Dr. Joseph A Klebon, Kristian Klebon and Michael Klebon.
